MBW Christmas Project 2017

MBW has a yearly Christmas Project aimed at supporting local needs.  this year we decided to make a difference by supporting Project Flamingo.

Project Flamingo is a rich mixture of passionate people serendipitous collided, who answered the call of Dr Liana Roodt, a young doctor who desperately wanted to change the journey of breast cancer patients in the Cape Town health sector.

Project Flamingo started small but dreamed big – from visiting patients with pamper packs to remind them of their feminine spirit, that no surgery can take away, to raising funds for their “Catch-up Surgeries” at Groote Schuur and Tygerberg Hospitals – reducing the waiting time for lifesaving breast cancer surgeries.

This year MBW strived to sponsor 100 pamper packs to Project flamingo to help these patients feel cared for and assist in keeping their feminine spirit alive.

100 is The numerology number 100 represents energy that’s self-determined, independent, and has infinite potential. It is a round number and holds hints of perfection.

On the 4th of December we achieved our goal of sponsoring 100 pamper packs for Project Flamingo.
